An illustrator for the new edition of “Benjamin and the Paradise Project”

Now that the Kôld Septology is completed, I hope to roll out all seven books, one at a time, over the next year or so.

I self-published the first two some time ago (it has been a 19-year project, after all). The first had a lovely cover of Benjamin ice surfing, created by Sabrina Silver, the second “Benjamin at SEA,” with a stock photo of a cougar (dull).

I would like the covers of all seven to be beautiful and dramatic, as well as stylistically unified. That is why I set out to find an amazing graphic artist. I’ve found one. I hope to write about the process of getting a cover made as we go.

Here is an example of one of the artist’s creations–totally unrelated to this project. I love how dramatic and intriguing this image is.

The cover image will be Benjamin underwater, caught in the Grinder during the ice surfing competition on the Day of Lumen.
